In the wake of the "creation" of a network by one of the largest rooms of the Merge Poker Network, Lock Poker, now are OverBet.com IronDuke Poker and leaving the network.
If Lock Poker abandoned the aforementioned network to establish its own network, in these cases the abandonment due to other reasons. The overbet has been sold on its website and in its software a message to alert players to the fact, saying that their funds are safe and that they should choose a network room to spend the money.
At the site, the message above was signed by "overbet," now has the same signature software "Merge Gaming." Rumours run the Merge, or their room, Carbon Poker, may be the company that bought overbet.
With IronDuke the process is similar in all respects, the lock / Merge absorption has not yet been confirmed but rumors were launched in a forum and they were later confirmed in other specialty websites.
Players from both sites have their funds safe but may lose their VIP points and other benefits in kind of transition to other rooms of the network.
The overbet advises players to move to one of the "preferred partners" of Merge can read on their site the same: Carbon Poker, Players Only and SportsBook.com.
To date, the rooms that have closed, changed network or were simply sold are: Felt Stars Poker, RPM Poker, Black Chip Poker and Poker Hero.
Indeed, it is hard to know at this time how many skins are active on the network. Their site shows 24 rooms (including overbet and IronDuke) but well made point skins are just 17.
