What started with some "mouths" between Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu and Gus Hansen, ended in a duel between The Professionals and Team PokerStars, with some of the biggest stars of the poker world.
Representing the Professionals were Gus Hansen, Tom Dwan and Viktor Blom. On the other side were the Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand Grospellier and Isaac Haxton.
What were the rules? Each heads-up would be $ 50,000 and the winning team will win
$10,000 in buy-ins at the home of opposition. Each game would be the best of three:
1st. Viktor Blom vs Bertrand Grospellier
2nd. Tom Dwan vs Isaac Haxton
3rd. Gus Hansen vs Daniel Negreanu
The result?
Elky won Blom 3-0. Haxton won 2-1 on Dwan. Negreanu defeated Gus Hansen 3-0.
Each of the PokerStars players won $ 50,000 from his Full Tilt opponent's and each will receive $ 10,000 in buy-ins from Full Tilt. This victory was the perfect warm for Negreanu, Haxton and Grospellier Main Event of the European Poker Tour London, as they are all registered to play Day 1 B.
