The winner of the biggest poker tournament in history, the Big One for One Drop, was presented yesterday as the new face of the Ultimate Poker room. Room owned by Fertitta Interactive, a company created by the Fertitta brothers, founders of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The Ultimate Poker rooms are among the first to receive a license online gambling in the state of Nevada, and expects to reach the public in late 2013. The gaming license was granted last October, but now the software of different companies are being analyzed and tested for subsequent launching sites.
Tom Breitling, president of the Ultimate Poker shows are "delighted to have Antonio Esfandiari to represent our company. Antonio is the true champion and a modern poker player."
Esfandiari also talked about this deal:
"I feel great. There is no other way to put it. It is wonderful to work with a company regulated by the Nevada Gaming Commission. I sleep well at night knowing that my name is associated with a company, making sure that vai pay to everyone, which is completely legitimate and legal."
